The office of Apprenticeship Assessment and Technologies of the Arts and Sciences Faculty of the RUM has developed this resource with the objective to share with the university’s community the projects and initiatives that we are developing in the areas of assessment and technologies in apprenticeship. We also desire for this page to become an essential resource for those who are interested in the assessment of apprenticeship in the context of university teaching.

Training/Counseling
1. Provide technical help and advice to the different components of the university’s community on the subject of assessment
2. Offer training activities for the Arts and Sciences Faculty members about: 1) evaluation techniques, methods, and strategies, 2) information systems and 3) apprenticeship supported by technology.
3. Coordinate the Continuous Improvement in Apprenticeship Office of the Arts and Sciences Faculty

Evaluation
1. Assess the evaluation activities in the Arts and Sciences Faculty
2. Maintain a tools and assessment resource bank that will be at the disposition of the university’s community
3. Identify the needs of the Arts and Sciences Faculty in affairs related to apprenticeship technologies
4. Coordinate the Middle States Association of colleges and Schools accreditation visits
5. Evaluate the infrastructure of the information systems

Information/Teaching Systems Complemented by Internet
1. Collaborate in the development of alternate types of teaching such as distance education complemented by Internet and computer assisted teaching.
2. Develop an online portal about assessment and information systems.

Dissemination
1. Promote and sponsor assessment activities in the classroom, programs, departments and office levels.
2. Promote the exchange of information about assessment between members of our university’s community and of other  local and foreign institutions
