WELCOME TO AIR FORCE ROTC DETACHMENT 756

The Air Force ROTC program at University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus is an Air Force commissioning program and leadership training program centered around the college experience. Our cadets are students first, focused on academic excellence, and also participate in classes and training sessions where they hone their leadership and management skills. It is a challenging program with a worthwhile reward: a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Air Force or US Space Force upon graduation.

Here you will grow mentally and physically. You will learn the value of integrity, teamwork and perseverance. You will also develop strong leadership skills that will benefit you as an Air Force and Space Force officer. Take a look around our website to learn more about our program and to see what makes Detachment 756 a special place for future leaders. Please visit our Prospective Cadets page to learn more about becoming a cadet and what it takes to complete our program.

VIRTUAL BROCHURE

Prospective cadets looking to join Detachment 756 have two different paths: direct from high school and already enrolled students at one of our detachment’s universities.

Because of the nature of the program, most students join the program direct from high school or as a college sophomore. Joining as a junior or senior is rare, but those students can contact the Recruiting Officer and schedule an advising session if interested.

Please see our Joining Detachment 756 page for more information on joining Air Force ROTC and for additional scholarship information.
