Dec 28, 2001 View from Southeast corner.

 

The cornerstone was laid Dec. XX, 1999.  Construction began. XXX. XX, 1999.

 

The Architects are Soltero and Associates and the Builders are Venegas Construction.

As you enter the building from the South, the central area on the ground floor has a “Sunken lounge” similar to that in the new Chemistry Building.    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Staircase presents a dramatic entrance to the First Floor and will undoubtedly be the site of many future photos!

 

 

The building has four levels with the first level called “Ground Floor”.  The levels above are called “First, Second, and Third Floors”. 

 

The building is progressing from the bottom up with Ground floor the most advanced and, as of Dec. 28, 2001, there were partial cement pours of the Third (top) Floor.

 

Ground floor has some of the windows installed and the electrical wiring and phone system beginning.
