Plenary Conference in the Dominican Republic
 The Dominican Republic State Secretary for Higher Education in Science and Technology and the “Instituto de Innovación en Biotecnología e Industria” (IIBI) invited the coordinators of the Industrial Biotechnology Program to provide a plenary conference during the First Colloquium in Industrial Biotechnology last November 14, 2006. During the visit, the coordinators had the opportunity to meet with the Dominican Republic researchers in the field of biotechnology and identified areas of collaboration with UPRM.
