The Economic Development University Center of the University of Puerto Rico is a program created with the purpose of promoting economic development throughout the Commonwealth.

The Center is sponsored by the University of Puerto Rico and the Economic Development Administration of the US Department of Commerce. The program  serves all the Commonwealth from its offices at the Mayagüez Campus of the University of Puerto Rico.

Mission

The Center's mission is to contribute to the economic development process by developing or participating on programs and projects leading to increase the economic activity levels throughout the Island . Our efforts are coordinated with public and private non-profit organizations engaged in economic development in order to maximize the use of existing resources.
