Development of low temperature magnetic ordering in Fe-doped NiAl
Nickel aluminides based on NiAl are important structural materials for high temperature applications. Owing to their lack of ductility (which limits their application), the need to use micro-alloying for improving ductility has become a common practice.
We are using Mössbauer Spectrometry in investigating the magnetic ordering at cryogenic temperature down to 4.2 K.
