The problems associated with the ingress of hydrogen in metallic materials are of interests to users of structural materials such as Ultra-High strength steels such as AF1410 and Aermet-100, Aermet-300 type steels.
Our work consists on effectuating tightly controlled hydrogen ingress. This is followed by structural characterization ranging from Tensile to Fatigue tests on prior hydrogen charged materials.
Our characterization techniques include Mössbauer Spectroscopic measurements, X-ray Diffraction, and, Electron Microscopy.
