Before starting graduate school Hanae was an intern for NOAAs Restoration Center in Puerto Rico. Afterwards she worked for the Nature Conservancy in the US Virgin Islands. She is now working on her thesis research, studying the reproductive biology of Colpophyllia natans and C. amaranthus. Hanae would like to continue working on marine restoration and conservation related work after finishing her masters.
