Language Awareness (LA) includes knowledge of and about language. Teacher Language Awareness (TLA) adds knowledge about students and methodology. Last June, Liz Dayton and Judy Casey presented a new field of study — TuLA — at the Association for Language Awareness conference in Hong Kong.
We will present a summary of our research on the A&S Writing Center at PR TESOL in November.
