The English Department’s Director Search Committee invites the English Department community– faculty, students, and personnel– to Dr. Rosita Rivera’s presentation on her candidacy for English Department Chair, a position she currently occupies in an interim capacity.
Even though Dr. Rivera is the only candidate for the position, this will be an important opportunity for her to share her vision for the English Department, including her administrative philosophy and ideas for how the Department can best manage the current fiscal crisis at UPRM. After the 30 minute presentation, the Search Committee will moderate a question and answer session and distribute a brief questionnaire to attendees so they can offer their feedback on the candidate and her presentation. This feedback will be incorporated into the report sent to the Dean of Arts and Sciences.
The activity will take place on Tuesday, January 26 at 10:30 am in Chardón 326.
