The UPRM Certificate in Film Studies is proud to congratulate our students Angel Velez and Derly Perez on having their short film "Laila" accepted by the 2012 Cannes Festival, the most prestigious film festival in the world.

We invite you to the pre-Cannes gala premier of "Laila", which will be accompanied by a selection of short films by UPRM Film Certificate students, including "Fulcro" and "Little Alice", the two short films that won prizes in the Rincon International Film Festival this year.

Come celebrate this wonderful year and the achievements of our students with us, be the first to see "Laila", and help Angel and Derly raise funds so they can travel to France next week to present their film in Cannes!
