Self-service, black/white and color photocopiers are located only on the first and third floors of the Library and two other areas on campus. The photocopiers on the first floor are available in the following areas: Reference Collection, Audiovisual Collection and the Electronic Resources Center (CRE, in Spanish). The photocopiers on the third floor are available in the following areas: Puerto Rican Collection and Circulation Collection. The other photocopiers are located in the Marine Sciences Collection (second floor, Geology and Physics Building) and the Student Center Photocopy Center (in front of the campus bookstore). All photocopiers are equipped with special features like duplex copying, reducing/enlarging, light/dark and flash drive/USB capabilities. All of the photocopiers accept bills and coins.

Cash refund receipts will be issued, if deemed appropriate, on a case-by-case basis by the library personnel located at the nearest service desk. Refund receipts can only be cashed at the Library Administrative Office (first floor, Room B-114) during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) (http://www.copyright.gov/title17/) governs the making of photocopies or other reproduction of copyrighted material. A copyright restriction notice is posted on all the copy equipment. The Library is not responsible for any copyright infringement committed by individuals using the photocopiers or printers. Users using self-service equipment are responsible for complying with and abiding by the current copyright laws and are liable for any infringement.
Users are responsible for reporting any problems encountered with the photocopiers immediately to the nearest service desk. Users who are unfamiliar with using photocopiers should feel free to contact the library personnel at the nearest service desk for help. Users are not allowed to add paper themselves or to access inner workings of the photocopier or to engage in abusive or illegal activity on photocopiers. Please contact the library personnel at the nearest service desk to help with adding paper, paper jams, toner/cartridge issues, bill/coin machine malfunctions and other mechanical problems.
Four black/white and color printers are located in CRE. Black/white copies are 5¢/page and color copies are 50¢/page.
Microform reader/printers are available in the Reference Collection and Puerto Rican Collection. Only black/white copies are available at 10¢/page. Bills and coins are accepted.
Change machines for large bills ($20, $10, $5) to single dollar bills ($1) and bills to coins are located in CRE and Student Center Photocopy Center.
