APPLICATION PROCESS

If you are considering joining Air Force ROTC at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, you must bring the forms listed below when requested during in-processing to Room 108-B, Sanchez Hall (ROTC Building), University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. You'll need a .pdf reader to be able to view these files. Please look carefully, there are documents such as the Form 48 that has the instructions on how to fill it. (refer to Form 48 Preparation).

AIR FORCE ROTC COURSE CURRICULUM

 

Air Force ROTC Course Curriculum: (UPRM*): 4 Year Program

 

*The Interamerican University uses AEST versus ESAE (numbering sequence remains the same).

Note1: Class includes a Leadership Laboratory which is automatically added within the UPR system (always on Tuesdays 1030-1145).  Crosstown universities must add it separately.

Note2: Program includes Physical Training conducted Tuesdays and Thursdays 0500-0600

 

1st Year

Fall --> ESAE 3001 (Tuesdays 0830-0920)

Spring --> ESAE 3002 (Tuesdays 0830-0920)

 

2nd Year

Fall --> ESAE 3011 (Tuesdays 0730-0820)

Spring --> ESAE 3012 (Tuesdays 0730-0820)

 

SUMMER --> Field Training (no class code – 2-week training in the States)

 

3rd Year

Fall --> ESAE 4001 (Tuesdays & Thursdays 0900-1015)

Spring --> ESAE 4002 (Tuesdays & Thursdays 0900-1015)

 

4th Year

Fall --> ESAE 4011 (Tuesdays & Thursdays by Agreement)

Spring --> ESAE 1012 (Tuesdays & Thursdays by Agreement)

 

 

Air Force ROTC Course Curriculum (UPRM*): 3 Year Program (must first request approval**)

**Email Det756@uprm.edu to request a meeting in order to discuss the possibility of joining the 3-year AFROT Program, rather than the 4-year.

HOW TO BECOME A NEW CADET*:

 

  1.  Email Det756@uprm.edu to request application process/documents

  2.  Complete the Application Process no later than the first week of class

  3.  Add Class & Laboratory to class curriculum

     *   Crosstown students ONLY:

 

           i.      Must be aware of UPRM class start dates as they may differ from your University’s start date.

 

           ii.      Must email a copy of your class registration to det756@uprm.edu so that your instructor may add it to the class.

 

1.  Email afrotccadetwing@upr.edu to be added to the Cadet notification (email and/or Teams) distribution list.  This will enable you to be added into a Flight and receive cadet meeting/information notifications.

 

*You MUST be (1) enrolled/attend class, (2) have completed the application process and (3) attend Laboratory and Physical Training to be considered an Active Cadet in the AFROTC Program.
