The people working at web development team (WDT) have a commitment to become an active part in making our communities better. As part of this outreach program the WDT has develop a web hosting service for non-profit organizations.

Who qualifies?:

Non-profit organization engaged in (non-political) social affairs.

What do you get?:

Participating organizations get:

- Hard Disk space (as determined in evaluation).
- 1 unique email address, 4 aliases.
- Technical Support/Training (limeted to staff availability)

- Depending on the evaluation performed and resources available at the time,
organizations may also qualify for the design and deployment of their web pages.

Conditions:

1. The WDT and the UPR at Mayaguez reserve its rights to discontinue the service at any time. Abuse of the service, or the use of UPRM resources in a manner that violates UPRM regulations, state or federal laws may result in immediate termination of service and may carry legal actions.
2. Availability of this service may depend on resources and time constrains at the time of the request.
3. Comercial use other than fund raising is stricly prohibited.
4. The WDT reserves its right to remove, modify any application, page, script, cgi or other resource that may pose a risk to the UPRM network. All installations of scripts, applications and other CGIs must be authorized by the WDT prior its installation.
5. The UPRM nor its employees are liable in any way or form for this service. This service is provided as it is. No warranties or insurance is given on the availability of the website or safe guard of any data.
7. The UPRM may request the removal or modification of content that may conflict with UPRM needs, goals and values.
6. The WDT and the UPR at Mayaguez reserve its rights to change the terms and conditions without requiring prior notification.

Send a description of your organization and a proposal of what you need. We will evaluate your proposal and provide you with a response within two weeks.
