If we were to ask you a simple question about the environment chances are that you will reply "I care". In essence we all care and therefore the question is not that of "Do you care?" but instead the real question is "Are you ready to do something about it?".

The We Care program is an initiative to take the "we care" to the next level. To promote a pro-active mind set.

To create environmental awareness among the campus community.

To take action regarding environmental issues.

To prompt the creation of Institutional Policies on environmental issues.

To develop a comprehensive set of resources for adopters of environmental
initiatives.

We Care is run by a group of volunteers known as the Green Team. Anybody can become a member of the Green Team. For more information on how to become part of the team send an email to green ( at ) uprm dot edu.
