We are committed to an integrated and dynamic education!

At the College of Business Administration (ADEM) we are aware and reinforce that internship and co-op courses provide undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to practice acquired knowledge and gain new skills in a work environment.
In the lower area of the page you will find the requirements and process to enroll and complete the Internship or COOP course.

Difference between Internships and Coops

The Internship course and the Coop plan are both professional internship experiences during the academic program. The difference is:

  • Time spent
  • Remuneration
  • Student’s academic load

The Internship may be a part-time paid or unpaid job. The academic load varies from one to six credits, depending on the hours contracted for the semester or summer.

On the other hand, the Coop plan is a full-time paid job and considered a full academic load.

If you are an ADEM student or graduate and you are interested in a regular job, Internship or Coop, you must register at Handshake to access opportunities that are posted on this platform.
