Difference between industry and University

June 9th, 2023 – Universities develop talented students and prepare them to move toward new challenges.Good companies retain their highly skilled associates and minimize “personnel turnover”.  Universities maximize “turnover” and celebrate it in graduation. We celebrate Barbara Alvarado’s transition to industry. Barbara completed her Ph.D. in our group and worked as a postdoctoral research associate.
