This summer, Grace M. Lebron Sierra, an undergraduate researcher in our group, has been working at Argonne National Laboratory on the recovery of rare earth elements (REEs) alongside Prof. Baldaguez Medina, Dr. Lauren Valentino, and Dr. Yupo Lin. As part of her internship, Grace contributed to ongoing research on electrochemical separation techniques for critical materials. She also represented our work at the Ignite Off! competition, where she delivered a five-minute talk highlighting our research to a broad audience of scientists and professionals. We’re proud of her accomplishments and look forward to seeing her continued growth in the field!
