How can we expand student knowledge and interests?

Dr. Hernandez research laboratory provides students an intense research experience through spectroscopic techniques in applications including:

  • Mid-Infrared Laser Spectroscopy (QCLs)
  • Raman Spectroscopy (RS)
  • Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) Applications
  • Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
  • Tip-Enhanced Raman Scattering (TERS)
  • Multivariate Analyses and Chemometrics
  • Ab Initio and Chemical Modeling
