Completed a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in art. Hobbies consist of painting, photography, and participating in 5K events for non-profit organizations. Currently completing an M.S. in Material Science and Engineering at the UPR of Mayaguez.

  • GMP validated HPLC and ELISA analytical techniques on Lilly del Caribe, Inc. (2017 – 2018).
  • Developed validation procedures for determining the insulin precursor protein in trace amounts as an impurity in complex matrices from various production areas (2017 – 2018).
  • Determined LOD and LOQ concentrations for trace amounts of the insulin precursor protein and the impurities obtained from recombinant DNA host cells of the insulin precursor protein content in various rinse matrices from the purification process steps (2017 – 2018).
  • Polymeric membranes as a substrate for detection of pathogens in different surface water by Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (2014-2015).
  • Development of a Raman assay to monitor the sorption of gram positive bacteria onto polymer nanocomposite surface (2014 – 2015).
  • Raman detection of Lactobacillus casei biomarker using nanoparticles with functionalized polymers substrates (2014 – 2015).
