SAS Raman Workshop I

SAS RUM chapter introduced its first workshop on October 12, 2019 teaching undergraduate and graduate students how to use Raman spectrometers.

President Annette Colon, Vicepresident Francheska Colon, and Treasurer Wilmaris Muñiz taught eight (8) students how to acquire Raman spectra of solid and liquid samples.

For this workshop, students learned to acquire Raman spectra on a inVia confocal Raman microscope and a Wasatch Raman spectrometer.
