President Annette Colon, Vicepresident Francheska Colon, and Trasurer Wilmaris Muñiz taught thirteen (13) students how to acquire Raman spectra of solid and liquid samples.
For this workshop, students learned to acquire Raman spectra on a inVia confocal Raman microscope and a Wasatch Raman spectrometer.
Secretary Edwin Caballero taught thirteen (13) students how to graph spectra, find peaks, and remove baseline on the OriginPro software.
President Annette Colon taught thirteen (13) students how to theoretically map the surface of samples using a NT-MDT NTEGRA spectra Atomic Force Microscope (AFM).
