About
- The CAHSI Allyship focuses on the success of female students in computing by pairing students in the fundamental courses with peers at their institution who have completed the data structures course. Protégés and Allies participate in monthly professional development cohort meetings led by CAHSI faculty and staff. Assigned Allies and Protégé pairs connect with each other during each academic year.
- The benefits of the program include learning about resources, growing from shared experiences, connecting with peers, learning from professionals, and receiving a small stipend. While the primary focus of the program is for students who identify as women of color and who are enrolled in computing-related majors, all students who strive for excellence in inclusion are encouraged to apply.
