I study English, Comparative Literature and Teacher Prep at University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. The first two years of my college education I was also an athlete with the University's Dance Team. Apart from that, I have danced in dance groups like Mayawest Dance Project and previous to that, Western Ballet Theatre was my dance school for over a decade, where Mumy and Nana Badrena taught me all I know about dance and ballet. Presently I am co-owner and teacher at Avant Performing Arts Studio while I continue my other passion: writing. While developing this passion, my works have been published in Hercampus, Emily, Smaeralit and other online magazines. Furthermore I have published my first bilingüal poetry book titled "Partida en Dos" (Ripped in two).
