Myrna Rivera is a Professor in the English Department at UPRM specialized in English Education. She gained both her B.A. in English with a minor in Education and her MA (M.A.E.E.) in the Mayaguez campus. Aside from teaching courses such as Basic English (INGL3101 and INGL3102), Intermediate English (INGL 3103 and IGNL3104), Conversational English (INGL3191), Composition and Literature (INGL3201 and INGL3202), and the education courses on teaching English as a subject in Secondary school (EDPE4245 and EDPE 4246), she was also involved in the English Departmental Committee and the NCATE Preparation Committee.
