Fatima Puig Abreu is a first year student of software engineering at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez campus. Currently, she is taking part in research establishing a way to analyze biomedical images using Python. She has a 4.0 GPA, and though her main professional interests are in software, she enjoys learning about humanities. Currently, she wishes to learn more about the software engineering field, but has a particular interest in machine learning and cybersecurity.
