To drive strategic alliances between UPRM and external partners to transform knowledge into innovation with economic and social impact.
Vision
To be the primary bridge for collaboration between UPRM and its external partners, and the first resource supporting the university community in forming strategic alliances with them.
We help foster strategic partnerships between the faculty of the University of Puerto Rico – RUM and external partners.
About Us
The Office of Strategic Partnerships (OSP) is the nexus for building collaborative alliances with the Mayagüez University Campus – UPR and promoting open innovation ecosystems. Through strategic connections with industry, government, civil society (NGOs, investors, and academic institutions), the OSP ensures that the innovations of UPRM researchers and faculty across all colleges impact society, address critical needs, stimulate technology-driven economic growth, and create positive, lasting social impact.
