Before joining CETL, I had limited exposure to transportation engineering and did not fully
understand the impact this field can have in Puerto Rico. Through my experience at the center, I
have been able to work on real projects, learn from people with similar interests, and see how
transportation data and planning can be used to address challenges that affect our communities.
CETL has opened my eyes to a field where I can continue growing as a Civil Engineering
student while contributing to meaningful improvements in Puerto Rico.
