The UPRM Centennial Wall was built in the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, with the purpose of giving the opportunity to those UPRM ex alumni full of pride and love for their Alma Mater, to leave a permanent footprint in their beloved Colegio. By buying a 6 x 6 tile that includes the name and graduation date the alumni, the students make sure that their name stays in UPRM forever. Since several hundreds of tiles have been placed already in the Centennial Wall, a common problem arises when ex alumni, who bought one or more tiles, return to the Campus in order to look for their footprint, and have a hard time finding the specific tile that has their name and graduation date. MapMurum looks to solve this problem by designing a website that contains an interactive map of the UPRM Centennial Wall. The idea is that the UPRM ex alumni will have access to the website, where they can look for their specific tiles online, in a similar way to when a user looks for available seats in a concert arena.
