Currently we are working on the research: Magnetron Sputtering Physical Vapor Deposition for Low-cost, Large-area, Ultra-sensitive and Ultra-selective Surface-enhanced Raman Sensors.
Our goal is to observe and analyze the effects in the variation of fabrication, in samples consisting of silver nanoparticles on Si/SiO2 substrates; under different parameters.
For example: size, topography and morphology, to see how it affects SERS signal amplification.
We want to identify the parameters that give the best nanoparticle characteristics, for the optimum SERS signal.
