The Puerto Rico Water Resources and Environmental Research Institute (PRWRERI) is part of a network of 54 institutes across the U.S. and its territories. We tackle Puerto Rico’s water and environmental challenges through research, education, and collaboration. We train future scientists and engineers, share knowledge with policymakers and the public, and work with government and private organizations to promote sustainable water management. Our expertise helps shape a better future for Puerto Rico’s water resources.
