Is IEEE WIE only for women?
Anyone is encouraged to join the IEEE WIE UPRM Student Branch! We are looking to help build a community of members who are enthusiastic of diversification.
How do I join the IEEE WIE UPRM Student Branch Affinity Group?
An IEEE membership is the only requirement to joining our IEEE WIE UPRM Student Branch Affinity Group.
With an IEEE membership: Login to myIEEE using your IEEE credentials and choose “Add Services”.
Without an IEEE membership: Join IEEE as a student. You can add IEEE WIE to your membership options.
IEEE membership for students located in Puerto Rico usually cost US$27 for 8 month.
Afterward, be sure to visit IEEE UPRM Branch and click the sign-up button to register on our local newsletter.
How can I volunteer with IEEE WIE UPRM?
Please send an email title “VOLUNTEERING” to wie@uprm.edu. We will add you to our list of people who are interested in volunteering for our events.
What are the benefits of joining IEEE WIE?
IEEE Women in Engineering members can meet colleagues with similar interests in promoting women in engineering and technology and participate in activities that support the IEEE WIE mission.
