My time at CETL was incredibly rewarding, greatly shaping my professional development. It deepened my understanding of Transportation and Logistics, particularly its intersections with technology and engineering. This center also provided the opportunity for me to apply my skills hands-on across various technical projects. These included developing embedded systems for parking detection via computer vision, using machine learning to estimate warehouse routing distances, implementing reinforcement learning for resource scheduling, and creating a digital twin for a gantry crane. Through the center, I also had the opportunity to present my research and projects to wider audiences, ranging from students and professors at university events to industry professionals at prestigious venues like the Transportation Research Board (TRB). I am deeply grateful for the opportunities provided by CETL; which not only sharpened my technical skills but also established the foundation necessary for me to design innovative solutions within the industry.
