Being involved with the CETL as an electronic engineer has been a valuable learning experience. The work has allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to a complex, real-world system that integrates simulation, hardware, and human–machine interaction, helping to better understand how engineering decisions influence safety, usability, and performance in transportation systems, while also providing a broader perspective on transportation as a multidisciplinary field shaped by technical and operational considerations.
