Description
The course is focused on acquiring intermediate and advanced principles of Lean Six Sigma. Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that maximizes shareholder value by improving customer satisfaction, cost, quality, and process speed. Lean Six Sigma combines two improvement techniques: Lean and Six Sigma. Lean focuses in eliminating waste and constantly shortening the cycle time. Six Sigma focuses on quality and variability reduction. The combination will help both service and manufacturing industries to operate more efficiently by eliminating variability from products and services, while reducing waste in inventory, processing, waiting, motion, transportation, and overproduction. Throughout the course the DMAIC phases Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Controlare deployed to integrate key Industrial Engineering tools to improve an entire system.

Prerrequisito: RECOMENDABLE haber tomado el Yellow Belt.
