Core EMBS Activities
The Annual BioX Symposium is an IEEE EMBS UPRM Student Chapter initiative designed to promote biomedical engineering and bioengineering by providing a platform for undergraduate research, fostering connections with graduate faculty, and engaging the biosciences industry in Puerto Rico.
The Student Mentorship Program (SMP) is an initiative by IEEE EMBS UPRM Student Chapter that connects students with mentors in bioengineering and related fields. The program supports academic and professional development, helps students prepare for internships and careers, and promotes growth through personalized mentorship and guidance.
