General Description:
Puerto Rico situates at the boundary between the Caribbean and North American plates, featuring a complex fault system. The region is highly seismically active, where several damaging historical earthquakes have occurred, and frequent small events persist. We reviewed the Puerto Rico Seismic Network (PRSN) and proposed a magnitude (Mw) homogenization equation. Then, a declustering to the new catalogue was done.
