Epistêmê: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Academic Research


Submission Guidelines

Students submitting research papers to Epistêmê must read the following guidelines before sending their work:

  • Only one submission per student. Research papers should focus on the disciplines within the Social Sciences (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, History, Political Sciences, Pedadogy, Linguistics, Anthropology, Media Studies, Economy, Human Geography) or Humanities (e.g. Art, Philosophy, English, Hispanic Studies, Foreign Languages, Film, Comparative Literature, Writing, Performance Studies, Religious Studies, Cultural Studies). 
  • The minimum number of pages is ten (10), there should be no more than twenty-five (25).
  • Papers must be doubled spaced, with 1" margins, and 12" Arial font.
  • File formats of students’ papers should be .doc or .docx only; .pdf formats will not be accepted.
  • A cover letter must be attached with the submission including name, major, educational institution or affiliation, year of study, contact information (e-mail and phone number), current mailing address, and a 250 word abstract of the text.
  • Students are welcome to submit papers in either Spanish or English
