College for Talented Students

The College for Talented Students (CET) is a University Articulation project that allows advanced high school juniors and seniors to take college courses for credit if they meet certain requirements.

Project "Acelera en Verde"

"Acelera en Verde" is a project that allows incoming students (admitted students) to advance courses of their academic curriculum through the Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (DECEP) of the Mayagüez Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. Once a student is admitted to UPRM, they may enroll up to 6 credits of summer offerings in the July academic session, prior to the formal start of their admission year in August.

R2DEEP

The R2DEEP Project is a Recruitment, Retention, and Distance Engineering Education Project, from which it derives its acronym. It is an initiative of the Pre-Engineering Program that combines recruitment, training, and retention strategies with the objective of improving the quantity and quality of students who apply for, enter, and complete programs offered at the College of Engineering of the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus.
