El Departamento de Química de UPR-Mayagüez está comprometido con mantener la mayor seguridad de todos nuestros estudiantes, facultad, personal
no docente, personal de apoyo y visitantes en nuestras facilidades. Logramos este objetivo mediante la implantación de reglamentación requerida por la Oficina de
Salud, Seguridad Ocupacional y Ambiental (OSSOA) de UPR-Mayagüez.
La reglamentación de OSSOA asegura que se cumplan con las leyes y reglamentaciones de agencias estatales y federales, tales como la Administración de Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional (OSHA), el Cuerpo de
Bomberos, Departamento de Salud y la Comisión de Regulación Nuclear (NRC), entre otras.
The Department of Chemistry at UPR-Mayagüez is committed to maintaining the utmost safety of all our students, faculty, non-teaching staff, support staff, and visitors in our facilities. We achieve this objective through the implementation of
regulations required by the Office of Health, Occupational Safety and Environmental (OSSOA) at UPR-Mayagüez.
OSSOA regulations ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of state and federal agencies, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA), the Fire Department, the Department of Health, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), among others.
