CRECEN offers the community an opportunity to learn through courses and/or professional, certifications, training, and professional coaching. By doing so, the program increases participants’ chances of obtaining jobs and/or other professional growth opportunities.
Each person that applies will be interviewed to determine their current professional profile, how it aligns with their needs, and the next steps they should take to achieve their personal and professional goals. Through this process, CRECEN prepares a personalized Professional Development Plan for participants in accordance with their availability and needs.
Once the participant has completed the course(s), they will receive a certificate that can be used in their application portfolios. If necessary, participants can also be instructed on ways to dress, ethics, and in preparing themselves for job interviews.
The program is based at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), Mayagüez University Campus. Currently, we have the collaboration of the Education and Business Services Unit (EDUCON) of the UPRM College of Business Administration.
