Desalojo de zona costera

Instrumento de Evaluación de Desalojos durante el Ejercicio SHAKE OUT para escuelas ubicadas en áreas COSTERAS*. La evaluación pretende que tanto el personal de la escuela como los profesionales en el área, puedan ver la efectividad del ejercicio al cumplir con su Plan Escolar Multirriesgo, para un evento específico de terremoto que pudiera tener asociado, además, un aviso de tsunami para Puerto Rico e Islas Vírgenes. Se espera que, mediante la práctica, se puedan identificar las áreas que deben fortalecerse en el plan o en el plantel escolar en general, para asegurar una mejor respuesta el día que se enfrente a una emergencia real de este tipo.

* áreas costeras son aquellas dentro del área de desalojo por tsunami (ver mapa de cada municipio costero).

**Esta evaluación puede ser utilizada por otras agencias o instituciones.

Coastal zone evacuation

Evaluation tool for evacuations during the SHAKE OUT exercise for schools in COASTAL areas. This evaluation tool’s objective is for both school personnel and surrounding professionals to evaluate how effective the exercise is, making sure to fulfill the school’s Multirisk Plan when faced with an event such as an earthquake, which could be accompanied by a tsunami warning for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. It is hoped that, through practice, you will be able to identify the areas in the emergency plan or in the school’s infrastructure that need some strengthening to guarantee a better response when the time comes to face an emergency of this type.

*Coastal areas are those included within the tsunami evacuation zones (see the corresponding maps for each coastal municipality).

** This evaluation can be used by other agencies and institutions.

Instrumento de Evaluación de Desalojos durante el Ejercicio SHAKE OUT para escuelas ubicadas en áreas NO COSTERAS*. La evaluación pretende que tanto el personal de la escuela como los profesionales en el área, puedan ver la efectividad del ejercicio al cumplir con su Plan Escolar Multirriesgo, para un evento específico de terremoto que pudiera tener asociado, además, un aviso de tsunami para Puerto Rico e Islas Vírgenes. Se espera que, mediante la práctica, se puedan identificar las áreas que deben fortalecerse en el plan o en el plantel escolar en general, para asegurar una mejor respuesta el día que se enfrenten a una emergencia real de este tipo.

* áreas NO costeras son aquellas fuera del área de desalojo por tsunami (ver mapa de cada municipio costero) o aquellos municipios del centro de la Isla Grande.

**Esta evaluación puede ser utilizada por otras agencias o instituciones.

This tool’s purpose is for both school personnel and surrounding professionals to evaluate how effective the exercise is, making sure to fulfill the School’s Multirisk Plan when faced with an event such as an earthquake, which\ could be accompanied by a tsunami warning for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Instrumento de evaluación de desalojos durante el Ejercicio SHAKE OUT para hospederías ubicadas en áreas costeras
Este instrumento de evaluación tiene como objetivo permitir que tanto el personal como los administradores de la hospedería puedan evaluar la efectividad del ejercicio en su Plan de Emergencia. Este ejercicio está enfocado en un terremoto que podría estar acompañado de una alerta de tsunami para Puerto Rico e Islas Vírgenes. Se espera que, a través de la práctica, identifiquen áreas que requieran fortalecimiento, ya sea en el plan de emergencia o en las instalaciones en general, para
garantizar una mejor respuesta en caso de una emergencia real de este tipo.

*Las áreas costeras son aquellas incluidas dentro de la zona de desalojo por tsunami (ver el mapa correspondiente
de cada municipio costero).

This evaluation tool’s objective is for both personnel and lodging administrators to be able to evaluate how effective the exercise is regarding your Emergency Plan. This exercise is focused on an earthquake that may be accompanied by a tsunami warning for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. It is hoped that, through practice, you will be able to identify the areas that need some strengthening, be they in the emergency plan or in the general infrastructure, to guarantee a better response when the time comes to face an emergency of this type.
