Retention Rates

Retention is defined as the percentage of students returning to study for a second year. It is reported by cohorts. A student is considered as returning even if there is a change in study program. This indicator is useful to measure the results of strategies used to retain first year students.

Placement Rates

Placement rate is defined as the percentage of the graduating class [for the Bachellors Degree] that has a job or is pursuing graduate studies within six (6) months of the date of graduation.

Graduation rate is defined as the percentage of students from a specific cohort that complete a degree in a period no greater than 150% of the time established by the curriculum. It is reported by cohort. This is done by the OIIP Office, and the results are published in its webpage.
