Área-E has is a small business incubator program and an accelerator program created through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program administered by the Puerto Rico Department of Housing. Its objective is to promote the economic development of Puerto Rico by offering training, mentoring, technical assistance and networking for small businesses to make them viable and sustainable.
Through the incubation program, you will learn to identify different aspects to take into account to operate your business. In addition, you will acquire tools to assess the level of your company and identify needs and areas for improvement. The training provided by our resources will be accompanied by personalized mentoring according to the needs of your business.
Through the acceleration program, you will be able to delve into specific topics and learn to establish administrative procedures for the growth of your business. You will also receive individualized mentoring from our specialists according to your needs.
Our program offers a variety of training workshops dedicated to improving the skills of entrepreneurs and offering tools to help your business succeed.
All activities in our programs including mentoring and technical assistance are free of charge.
Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet with specialized mentors in different fields.
Entrepreneurs enrolled in our incubation program or acceleration program will be able to interact with fellow entrepreneurs from our programs, members of the administrative staff, as well as external entities, members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem that provide services to small businesses.
