CRECEN offers the community an opportunity to learn through courses and/or professional, certifications, training, and professional coaching. By doing so, the program increases participants’ chances of obtaining jobs and/or other professional growth opportunities.
Each person who applies to the program is provided with a Professional Development Plan, which is tailored to each participant. The considerations in the development of the Plan also include the participant's availability and personal goals.
Once the participant has completed the course(s), they will receive a certificate that can be used in their application portfolios. If necessary, participants can also be instructed on ways to dress, ethics, and in preparing themselves for job interviews.
The program is conducted by the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), Mayagüez Campus (RUM). Currently, we have the collaboration of the DECEP and CREAD programs of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and the Google Coursera platform.
