“A devastating landslide razed eight houses by the sea in northern Norway. One person was evacuated from a property. There were no fatal nor injured victims.
The detachment of a piece of land more than 600 meters wide and 150 meters high occurred in the municipality of Alta on Wednesday afternoon. Police were notified of the incident at 3:45 p.m. m., and immediately began an air and sea rescue operation.
One person managed to record the avalanche with a camera. The video shows how the land gradually gives way, then more violently, and moves to the sea.”
