OHL Librarian, Natalia Hernandez Mejías, and former OHL intern, Sonny Weeks, presented a paper, “Protecting Oral Histories: Navigating Privacy Challenges in Digital Environments,” at the 2025 ACURIL conference, the biggest library conference in the Caribbean. In addition, Hernandez Mejías also shared a poster titled “Digital Humanities in Puerto Rico: Initiatives and Collaborations of the General Library at UPRM,” which she prepared with OHL Co-Director, Jaquelina E. Álvarez, and UPRM librarian, José Morales Benítez.
La bibliotecaria de OHL, Natalia Hernández Mejías, y la estudiante de internado del OHL, Sonny Weeks, presentaron la ponencia “Protegiendo las historias orales: navegando los desafíos de la privacidad en entornos digitales” en la conferencia ACURIL 2025, uno de los encuentros de bibliotecas, archivos y museos más grandes del Caribe. Además, Hernández Mejías compartió un póster titulado “Humanidades digitales en Puerto Rico: iniciativas y colaboraciones de la Biblioteca General del RUM”, preparado por ella junto con la codirectora de OHL, Jaquelina E. Álvarez, y el bibliotecario del RUM, José Morales Benítez.
