OHL Director Ricia Chansky delivered a keynote address at the International Auto/Biography Association (IABA) Conference 2025, “Story as Resistance: Signs of Life in the Great Silencing.” She also offered a workshop—”Ethics in Interviewing”—and was on a panel for the IABA Students and New Scholars Network and a panel celebrating the 40th anniversary of the journal a/b: Auto/Biography Studies, which she edited for ten years. She was also presented a commemorative plaque in honor of her founding the International Auto/Biography Association Chapter of the Americas ten years ago.
La directora del OHL, Ricia Chansky, pronunció una conferencia inaugural magistral en la Conferencia 2025 de la International Auto/Biography Association (IABA), titulada “La historia como resistencia: Señales de vida en el Gran Silencio”. También impartió un taller titulado “Ética en la entrevista”, participó en un panel de la Red de Estudiantes y Nuevos Académicos de la IABA, y en otro panel que celebraba el 40.º aniversario de la revista a/b: Auto/Biography Studies, que editó durante diez años. En reconocimiento a su papel en la fundación del Capítulo de las Américas de la Asociación Internacional de Autobiografía hace diez años, recibió una placa conmemorativa.
