Library Week

To celebrate the “Drawn to the Library” theme of the 2025 American Library Association National Library Week, the Oral History Lab, UPRM General Library and UPRM English Department cohosted an online event with Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez, graphic novelist and creator of La Borinqueña.

In addition, the UPRM General Library hosted an exhibition of La Borinqueña art by Miranda-Rodríguez and the Biblioteca Juvenil de Mayaguez  also hosted a satellite exhibition of the work.

Library Week

Para celebrar el tema ” Drawn to the Library” de la 2025 American Library Association National Library Week de 2025, el Laboratorio de Historia Oral, la Biblioteca General de la UPRM y el Departamento de Inglés de la UPRM organizaron conjuntamente un evento en línea con Edgardo Miranda-Rodríguez, novelista gráfico y creador de La Borinqueña.

Además, la Biblioteca General de la UPRM presentó una exposición del arte de La Borinqueña de Miranda-Rodríguez y la Biblioteca Juvenil de Mayaguez también presentó una exposición satélite de la obra.
