What is The Star Member?

Star Member is an award given to one of our members for their outstanding participation at our SWE events. The students sign a contract at the beginning of the semester and for their participation on our activities they’re awarded stars. Depending on the type of activity (Outreach, Fundrasing, Charity, etc.) is the quantity of stars awarded. The winner is selected to attend the SWE National Conference.

Star Member Winner 2018

Our Star Member Award is given to one of our members every year for their outstanding participation throughout the whole year. Every event earns our members “stars” and the winner is chosen at the end of our academic year. The winner is rewarded with an all expense paid trip to the SWE National Conference.

This year our winner is Blás Ayala! He will be attending this years’ conference in Anaheim, California.
